SELF SUPPORTING INTERCEPTIVE TANKS

They are used for emergency interceptions of hazardous liquids (in uncontrolled tank or pool spills, etc.) or for creating water supplies, for ex tinguishing, snowmaking, etc.

The tanks are made of double-layer rubber-coated polyester fabric, which is well resistant to chemicals and mineral oils. The tanks have an inflatable tubus, which is inflated up to the pressure of 0.3 bar. The ring has a
regular inflatable boats inflation valve and a safety valve that allows the maximum pressure of 0.3 bar.

The tubus of unfolded tank fills up with air. When filling the tank with liquid the tubus as well as the tank rise up to the maximum height with the ris ing of the liquid level. The tank is emptied through the discharge hose at
the bottom of the tank. The end of the release pipe has a Storz coupling C with a seal upon which a fire hose can be attached to pump the liquid out of the tank. The tanks are packed in bags and take little space. They are resistant to temperature changes and have a long lifespan that can be prolonged by using lining. Thus the possibility of damage can be reduced when using the tank on an uneven or rough surface.

Filled tank can be covered with a tilt, preventing unwanted materials (atmospheric precipitations or dust) from entering the stored fluid.

DRINKING WATER TANKS

Drinking water tanks are pillow-shaped and equipped with two or more nipples, depending on the size of the tank. The middle nipple on top is intended for venting air, whereas other nipples are for filling and emptying of the tank.

The tanks are made of polyester reinforced, PVC fabric. The inside of the tank is white and the PVC is tested and certified for drinking water storage. The tanks are very resistant and can be used in temperatures ranging from -30°C to +70°C.

Drinking water tanks are produced in blue colour. They are equipped with four handles for initial positioning.

The usage of the tanks is simple and quick, thus they are especially suitable for interventions during natural disasters and for usage in dry areas where the need for drinking water is greater.

MOBILE DECANTING UNITS

The mobile decanting units are suitable as preventive protection from hazardous liquid spills when emptying or filling tanks. The mobile decanting units’ characteristics are that they are light and take little space when folded. Because of this they can be preventively stored in trucks and used when pumping hazardous liquids.

The units are made of double-layer rubber-coated polyester fabric, which is well resistant to chemicals and mineral oils. The units have an inflatable tubus, which is inflated up to the pressure of 0.3 bar. The ring has a regular inflatable boat’s inflation/deflation valve and a safety valve that allows the maximum pressure of 0.3 bar. Empty mobile decanting unit is
placed where hazardous liquid will be pumped. The tubus is inflated by compressed air or hand pump. The tubus creates a 20 centimetre margin that prevents spilling.
